okay i know i'm late to the party but i just finished watching Yuri on ice and I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS GONNA BE THAT GAY ???? LIKE WHAAAT, i knew that the anime was The gay anime! everybody and their mothers would talk about the kiss between viktor and yuri, so i knew (who watches Yuri on ice and doesn't know about the kiss???) Anyways, the point is I DIDN'T KNOW THE KISS HAPPENED MID SEASON that surprised me and i thought "oh... from now on i guess everything is gonna be a little boring" because i'd never saw anything else besides the kiss on social media, and before the kiss SO MANY GAY SHIT HAPPENED, WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT AT ONE POINT VIKTOR TOLD YURI HE COULD BE HIS BOYFRIEND, THAT HE WILL TRY HIS BEST???? GOD and then in the competitions viktor being so clingy ???.

But what surprised me the most was THEY FUCKING GAVE EACH OTHER WEDDING RINGS ??? sure sure "lucky charm" BULLSHIT, THEY GOT MARRIED or at the very last LIKE VIKTOR SAID, THEY GOT ENGAGED ??? HUH ???? WHY I NEVER SAW ANY OF THAT ??? and the finale ??? I lost my fucking mind, them dancing was BEAUTIFUL, AND SWEET, AND MAGICAL, AND DIVINE AND AAAA.

So yeah, it surprised me how gay this shit was.

Oi pessoal,

Após muito tempo (desde 2012) compartilhando mensagens de amor, empatia e tudo o que aquece o coração em um mundo tão cheio de desafios, senti que era o momento de uma mudança.

Antes chamado “Seu Abrigo”, agora esse Tumblr passa a se chamar “Pai Ágape”.

Esse novo nome reflete minha certeza de que o amor mais profundo e transformador é o de Deus.

O “amor ágape,” aquele que é incondicional e que nos preenche verdadeiramente. Sinto que é esse amor, tão imenso e poderoso, que devemos buscar, compartilhar e principalmente VIVER. Assim, meu objetivo aqui permanece o mesmo: transmitir esperança, inspirar compaixão e lembrar a todos que esse amor é o abrigo que todos precisamos.

God's "love" is so conditional, despite what they teach in Sunday School.

If God loves everyone unconditionally, then why would he revile my identity that he supposedly created me with in the womb.

If God loves everyone, why did he command for stoning a rape victim/an impure bride/a gay man/or a prostitute?

Growing up, I never really understood what it feels like to love someone. I don’t mean just romantic love but to just love in general (family, friends, etc.) I didn’t really know what love feels like. Abstract ideas are usually lost on me. How do I know that I love my family? What does it really mean to love my friends? Is it just caring about them? Being a Christian, I did a word study on love in the Bible and felt led to share its wisdom with you.

Love is not a feeling. It is an action. You choose to love those around you, but what does that look like in practice? Take a look at 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

“Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not arrogant, is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not irritable, and does not keep a record of wrongs. Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”

The Greek word for love in this text is agape. That is the word for an unconditional, sacrificial love, not romance. It is also a verb. Agape is an action we can all practice with anyone in our lives that we care about or even with a stranger. If we are patient, kind, humble, selfless, forgiving with those around us, we are living in love. And this is how God loves us.

This is what it means to love someone. I’ve seen a lot of people on this website make posts not understanding what love truly means, so God put it on my heart to share with you what He taught me. This understanding of the passage really opened my eyes to what it means to love everyone in my life. I hope it helps you better understand what love is in everyday practice.

God help the man that breaks my little sister's heart for the first time.

I know her better than I know my own soul, she is so gentle, so forgiving, she'll take the blame off his shoulders and wear it for years.

But me? I've never been very gentle and I like to win.

He may be guiltless in her eyes, but an eldest sister's wrath is nigh on impossible to avoid.

I will find the things he covets and rip them from his arms, because if God doesn't save the man who breaks my baby sister, no one can.
